We are seeking a postdoctoral researcher to join a
multidisciplinary team investigating the links between biology and
physics in the the Strait of Georgia on Canada's west coast. The
person we seek will use a coupled-bio-physical model to quantitatively
investigate the role of physical variability on productivity.
Results of a three year field program ending April 2005 will be
available for comparison. The successful candidate will play a
leadership role for the project including assisting graduate students
in the scientific interpretation of field data and model results and
should have a doctorate in oceanography or a related field.
Experience in ecosystem modelling and/or multidisciplinary oceanography
would be an asset. This is a two year position. Salary will be
32-40 k Cdn depending on experience. Review of submissions will
